Welcome to the Faith and Friends web site (hereafter the “Site”). We want you to know that we are very concerned about protecting your privacy. That is why we have adopted this Privacy Policy.

IF YOU ARE UNDER THE AGE OF 13, BEFORE USING OUR SITE, PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE MESSAGE WITH YOUR PARENT OR GUARDIAN. WE WANT TO KNOW THAT YOUR PARENT/GUARDIAN IS AWARE OF OUR SITE AND APPROVES OF YOUR USE OF IT. WE WILL NEED A SIGNED PARENT CONSENT FORM ON FILE FOR YOU IN ORDER FOR YOU TO CORRESPOND WITH US, WIN PRIZES IN OUR CONTESTS, BE ON OUR MAILING LIST, ETC. YOU NEED TO BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN IT COMES TO GIVING US OR ANYONE ELSE ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION ABOUT YOU OR YOUR FAMILY OVER THE INTERNET.

Note to Parents & Guardians:
We have worked hard to make our Site a safe, wholesome place for visitors of all ages. Nevertheless, we strongly encourage you to talk to your children about safe and responsible use of the Internet and protection of their personal information. If your child is under 13 and you are comfortable with your child's use of our Site, please sign and return the Parent Consent Form at www.alifeoffaith.com/parentconsent.htm. You may revoke your consent at any time by contacting us via any of the methods listed below.

How We Use Information from Visitors
We use information from our Web Site visitors to:
• respond to correspondence, questions, comments, and prayer requests;
• continually develop and design content to meet their interests and needs;
• notify them about new products and new Web Site content;
• contact them in the event they win a prize in one of our contests;
• understand our audience better so we can continue to improve our products, services and Web Site.

The Kinds of Information We Collect

Non-Personally Identifying Information
For the purposes of this policy, information that will not allow a person to actually contact you will be called “Non-Personally Identifying Information” (“NPII”). Non-Personally Identifying Information includes things like your first name without your last name and your city without your street address. These types of information will not allow us or anyone else to actually contact you.

Personally Identifying Information
For the purposes of this policy, “Personally Identifying Information” (“PII”) is defined as information that would allow someone to actually contact you. Personally Identifying Information includes things like your full name (first name plus last name), your email address, your home address, and your telephone number. The distinction between Personally Identifying Information and Non-Personally Identifying Information is very important. You should carefully protect all personal information, but Personally Identifying Information is what you need to safeguard the most. We will never require Personally Identifying Information. When we collect PII from you it is because you are choosing to submit the information to us in order to participate in activities such as subscription registrations, surveys, special offers, contests, content submissions, comments, suggestions, etc., or because you want us to furnish you with products, services or information.

Profile/Demographic Information
At times we will give you the opportunity to provide general profile and demographic information about you. This information is NPII and will never be required.

Editorial Information
You will at times want to provide your thoughts and ideas to us through the various sections of our Web Site. There are lots of reasons for you to write and we want to hear from you. For the purposes of this policy, we will refer to comments, ideas, opinions, suggestions, contest entries, content submissions, and other communications or correspondence, regardless of the form or format in which submitted, as “Editorial Information.”

Server Information
There is information which our server or computer system records in the process of operating, maintaining and administering our Web Site. This includes how many visitors we had, the number of visitors which viewed each of the pages on our Site, what times of day visitors came to our Site, what browsers our visitors used, and what part of the Internet they came to our Site from, and other similar information. This "Server Information" provides us with aggregate data and market research that is very helpful to us in evaluating our Site.

Cookies
A “cookie” is a message given to a Web browser by a Web server. At times we will use cookies to keep track of your online session for personalization purposes, such as storing your username and password for you to easily log in on your next visit, or to send you personalized information about upcoming products and promotions that we believe will interest you based on information you have given us.

Information From Children Under 13
Children under the age of 13 contact us for many reasons. A child may email us to request a catalog, to enter one of our writing contests, to ask a question about living a life of faith, to share a spiritual insight, to ask when a product is coming out, to give us a testimony about the impact of our products on her life. In such cases, we may collect the child’s Personally Identifying Information in order to respond to the child's specific request. For example, we may retain a child's email address in order to be able to notify her in connection with a contest she entered on our Web Site. If we post a child’s winning contest entry, we will post the child’s name and age but never an email addresses or any other information which would allow someone to actually contact the child. Children under the age of 13 who visit our Site will never be required to give any Personally Identifying Information. A Parent Consent Form is required for ongoing contact with a child. Without a signed Parent Consent Form, we will not even mail a child under 13 a contest prize.

How We Protect Personally Identifying Information
WE WILL NEVER SELL OR RENT PERSONALLY IDENTIFYING INFORMATION TO ANY THIRD PARTY WITHOUT ADVANCE CONSENT. On occasion it may necessary for us to give Personally Identifying Information to the companies we have engaged to provide order fulfillment, distribution, and database management services for us. These are reputable companies with whom we maintain a close business relationship and they have agreed to keep all Personally Identifying Information strictly confidential.

Our Rights to Use the Editorial Information You Send Us
PLEASE DO NOT SEND US ANY EDITORIAL INFORMATION WHICH YOU WANT TO BE TREATED AS CONFIDENTIAL OR PROPRIETARY. We love to hear from our customers and visitors to our Site. With the exception of your Personally Identifying Information, everything we receive from you will be treated as non-confidential and non-proprietary and we will be free to post, publish or otherwise use it for any purpose.(Please see the sub-section entitled “Messages and Information From You” in the “Terms and Conditions” section of this Site.) For example, we might print your comments about our products in our promotional literature or on our Site, or we might develop new products based on ideas you have submitted to us. If we post or publish Editorial Information that you send in to us, we will post or publish only Non-Personally Identifying Information along with it.
